The Ridgefield Raptors are back at home this week for a Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday series against the Bellingham Bells at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex. All three games of this South-versus-North matchup in the West Coast League begin at 6:35 p.m.

A live video and a live audio stream are available for all home games this year at RidgefieldRaptors.com.

Ridgefield currently stands three games behind first place in the WCL South Division at 11-7. The Corvallis Knights are 14-4.

Ridgefield has won four of the first six series of the year and now face Bellingham for the first time this season. The Raptors lost the final two games against the Portland Pickles this weekend, both losses by one run.

The starting pitching has had some nice flashes recently, including a six-inning start by Oregon State’s Jaren Hunter, who allowed just one earned run versus the Pickles on Sunday. Last homestand, Washington’s Nate Weeldreyer was perfect through the first 3.2 innings of his Raptors debut and picked up the win against Yakima Valley.

Ridgefield’s offense has been lights out this season, leading the WCL in runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, batting average, on base percentage and slugging percentage.

The Raptors’ catchers have been hitting well at the plate recently. Cole Urman has eight hits in his last three starts with a double in each game, while Grant Heiser has a hit in all five games he’s played.

The next home game after this homestand will be July 4 at 3:05 p.m. versus the Corvallis Knights.
