To Our Raptors Family,
As we officially close the book on the 2026 season, we want to take a moment to say the two simple words:
Thank you!
Thank you for filling the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex with energy and passion all summer long. Thank you for cheering from the first pitch to the final out, for celebrating the big moments, for sticking with us through the tough ones, and creating one of the best ballpark environments in the West Coast League.
This season was one to remember.
We opened the year with the goal of building something special, and along the way, this team delivered one of the most memorable seasons in Raptors history. We won the first-half championship, earned a spot in the West Coast League Playoffs, set league and franchise records, and continued a tradition of developing players who go on to reach the next level.
We watched Zach Wadas set new Raptors single-season records for consecutive games with a hit (16) and stolen bases (23). We celebrated five Raptors representing the team at the WCL All-Star Game. We watched Joseph Jasso hear his name called in the MLB Draft during a game at the RORC. We celebrated our head coach reaching 200 regular-season wins with the Raptors. And we witnessed the team make its way through the playoffs and into the South Division Championship.
But the numbers and accomplishments only tell part of the story.
The best part of this season was everything that happened around the baseball.
It was the families spending summer nights together at the ballpark. It was the kids running the bases, chasing foul balls and meeting their favorite players. It was the fans showing up for $3 Tuesdays, Kids in Free Sundays, Community Wednesdays, giveaways, fireworks, the drone show and all of the other special moments that made each night at the RORC unique.
It was our community coming together.
Through our Community Wednesdays, we were proud to shine a spotlight on local organizations doing incredible work throughout Southwest Washington. Through events like First Responders Night, Military Appreciation Day and Pink Lemonade Night, we had the opportunity to recognize and give back to people and causes that matter to our community. And through our partnerships with incredible local businesses and organizations, we continued to make Raptors baseball about more than just what happens on the field.
That is what makes this place special.
The Raptors are Southwest Washington’s Home Team because of you.
Whether you attended one game or every game, wore Raptors gear around town, followed along on social media, brought your family to the ballpark, cheered from the berm or simply kept up with the team from home — you were part of this season.
And we don’t take that for granted.
Summer baseball goes by quickly. One day we’re opening the gates for Opening Night, and suddenly we’re playing our final game and saying goodbye to another group of players. But while the players may change from year to year, the one constant is the community that continues to show up for this team.
So, from everyone in the Raptors organization, thank you for making the 2026 season so special.
