The Raptors welcome right-handed UC Berkeley pitcher Ben Lake.

The talented hurler was poised for an impactful freshman campaign with the Golden Bears prior to their season being cut short, boasting a 0.00 ERA over 1.2 innings of work. Raptors skipper Chris Cota notes that Lake is a welcome addition to the 2020 roster.

“We expect Ben to have an impact in Ridgefield this summer as a quality arm who can fill big innings and get big outs for us,” Cota said.

Lake has family from the area and is also a gifted student. He hopes to become an aerospace engineer when his playing days conclude.

Welcome to Ridgefield, Ben!
