Outfielder Doyle Kane robs an Edmonton Riverhawks batter of a grand slam (June 14th, 2022)

Written by Raptors broadcaster Josh Worden

The Ridgefield Raptors stay home for another series this weekend, taking on Cowlitz for three games beginning Friday at 6:35 p.m. All three games are at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex.

Saturday’s game is also at 6:35 and Sunday at 1:05. All games will have a live video stream at RidgefieldRaptors.com, where tickets are also available.

Sunday is Kids Day, with kids under 12 getting in free (2 kids per paid adult).

Ridgefield has plenty of home games coming up in the near future, with this series part of a six-game homestand. The Raptors play just one road series the remainder of June, and even that series is a short drive down to Portland.

The Raptors take on Cowlitz for the second time Friday. Ridgefield hosted the Black Bears on June 1 for the exhibition season opener. The Raptors won that game, 21-7.

The Columbia River Cup begins anew this year, with the first team to win four games between Cowlitz and Ridgefield taking the trophy. Last year, Cowlitz won four of seven games to win the cup. Ridgefield tries to take a firm advantage in the series this weekend; we hope to see you at the RORC to take it all in!
