The Raptors welcome Ryan Harvey from UCSB. Harvey will join teammate and WCL ALL-Star Carter Benbrook on the Raptor pitching staff this summer at the RORC.
Harvey is a 6 foot 3 right hander in his freshman campaign with UCSB. The Gauchos were are off to a 13-2 start thanks to their stellar pitching staff, before their season was cancelled.
“Anytime we get a player from UCSB, we know we are getting an extremely skilled and talented player,” said Raptors Skipper Chis Cota. “Ryan Harvey is no exception to that. He comes from a top program that is filled with Major League prospects, so to see him getting time on the mound as a freshman is impressive. We are really looking forward to having him compete for Ridgefield this summer.”
