The Ridgefield Raptors (0-2) return to the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreational Complex (RORC) for their first home series of the 2024 West Coast League season. The Edmonton Riverhawks (1-1) will be the Raptors’ opponent on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Ridgefield enters the home series after a tough two game stretch in Portland against the Pickles. The Raptors lost 12-0 at Walker Stadium on Friday night and went down 5-0 in the second game of the series on Saturday. Ridgefield earned just six hits in its two games in Portland, but Saturday starter Damian Pantoya showed strong promise for the pitching staff. The redshirt freshman and right-hander from Texas A&M Corpus Christi tossed four innings, allowing only one run and one hit while earning five strikeouts. Olympic College talent Quentin Moreland threw three scoreless innings of relief on Friday, notching two strikeouts. Sunday’s finale was postponed due to weather conditions in the area.

Edmonton is amid a six-game road stretch, with the series against the Raps being the latter of its two away from home. Edmonton lost 5-4 against the Bellingham Bells on Friday night but bounced back with a 3-2 win against the Bells on Saturday at Joe Martin Field.

All games against Edmonton are scheduled to start at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from the RORC.
