The Raptors are proud to welcome back Vancouver native Hayden Minich to the 2020 ball club. Hayden was the first ever Raptor pitcher to garner West Coast League Pitcher of the Week honors for his efforts on the mound. The cerebral right hander competed brilliantly in 2019, leading the team in wins while posting a 4-1 record on the mound.
“Hayden won’t dazzle you with any one pitch,” said Head Coach Chris Cota. “His strengths are in his mentality and game plan going into games. You really begin to appreciate Hayden as a pitcher over the course of a season. He goes out and works his plan and before you know it, you look up and it’s the 5th or 6th inning and he’s cruising. We are pleased to have a local product who helps us win back on the club this summer.”
