The Raptors are thrilled to welcome back fan favorite and West Coast League All-Star Carter Benbrook for his second summer with the club.

A freshman at UC-Santa Barbara, Benbrook dazzled on the mound for the 2019 Raptors, posting a 2.05 Earned Run Average over 35 innings pitched. The savvy southpaw also struck out 25 opposing hitters while yielding only four walks on the summer.

“I am really excited to be back in Ridgefield this summer,” Benbrook said. “Last summer was such an incredible experience.” When asked what the highlight was for him during the inaugural campaign, Benbrook pointed outside of the field.

“The fans are my #1 memory. We just got such support all summer long. Whether we were winning games or losing, the fans always had our backs. It made our whole team want to play that much harder.”
