The Ridgefield Raptors are happy to announce the signings of Willie Cano and Noah Taylor from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
“Willie is a very versatile infielder,” said Cal Poly SLO Coach Larry Lee. “He can play all infield positions outside of first base. Offensively, he is developing into a productive hitter and has a high baseball IQ.”
Regarding Taylor, Coach Lee said, “Noah has come a long way both offensively and defensively. Being a two-sport athlete in high school (football), this is the first opportunity he has had to focus entirely on baseball. He has a very smooth swing that enables him to hit to all fields.”
“We are excited to have these two Mustangs join the Raptors for the summer of 2019. Southwest Washington fans will enjoy seeing them play in Ridgefield,” said General Manager Gus Farah.
