The Raptors are thrilled to welcome back one of last summer’s top performers—Taylor Takata is returning to Ridgefield for the 2025 season!
Takata was a staple in the Raptors lineup in 2024, locking down second base and appearing in 46 games. He posted an impressive .323 batting average during the regular season, racking up 50 hits and 22 RBIs, and was a consistent spark at the top of the order. His standout season earned him a spot on the All-West Coast League First Team, solidifying his place among the league’s elite.
The Hawaii native will return to the RORC this summer before heading to the islands in the fall to join the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. With his strong glove, reliable bat, and familiarity with the Raptors’ system, Takata is poised to be a key leader on and off the field once again in 2025.
Welcome back, Taylor!
