The Ridgefield Raptors and the West Coast League are pleased to announce the 2021 game schedule.
Launching at the RORC June 2nd the Raptors will play host to down-river rival Cowlitz Black Bears before giving way to League play and a three- game home series versus the Bend Elks beginning Wednesday, June 4th. “We are no doubt excited to return to the ballpark in 2021,” said Gus Farah, General Manager of the Ridgefield Raptors and Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations for Southwest Washington Baseball Group. “We have been following the state and local guidance for COVID and safety is our top priority. We also are optimistic about this coming summer and seeing our fans at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex. Connecting with our community and offering a great fan experience this summer is our other top priority.”
The 59-game schedule, including 31 home dates at the RORC in Ridgefield, features travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, and Alberta. The WCL has added three new teams for the 2021 season in Nanaimo, BC, Kamloops, BC and Edmonton, Alberta, with the Raptors scheduled to visit both the NightOwls (Nanaimo) and Riverhawks (Edmonton). “Perhaps one of the greatest opportunities we provide to our players is the ability to experience the cities and towns that host West Coast League teams in a way very few others get to. It truly becomes a life changing experience for our players and coaches, and one the League is proud to offer” added Farah.
We can’t wait to see Raptor Nation back at the RORC June 2nd!
